WHO WE ARE
OUR VISION
We believe every child deserves to grow up known, loved, and equipped for life — regardless of the circumstances that brought them to us.
Our vision is to empower our children to grow with a sense of worth, recognize they are loved and supported to who they want to become into adulthood. Spiritual nurturing alongside secular education and social interaction we know will give them the balance they need.
We do not see ourselves as an institution. We are a family — imperfect, faith-filled, and committed for the long haul.
OUR MISSION
Treasure House exists to provide a permanent, stable, Christian home for orphaned and vulnerable children in Fiji. We care for the whole child: physical health, emotional wellbeing, education, spiritual formation, and the lifelong sense of belonging that every person needs to thrive.
We partner with the Fiji Social Welfare Ministry, local churches, medical professionals, schools, and generous supporters around the world — because raising children well has always taken a village.
OUR VALUES
Family first. Every decision we make asks: is this in the best interest of our children as a family? We keep siblings together, maintain consistent caregivers, and work hard to ensure children feel secure.
Faith in action. Our Christian faith is not a program — it is the foundation of how we live, how we treat each other, and how we face hard days. Children grow up knowing they are loved by God and by the people around them.
Dignity always. Every child who comes to us has a story that deserves respect. We never reduce a child to their circumstances. We celebrate who they are becoming.
Transparency with our supporters. Those who give to THCCH deserve to know their gifts reach the children. Many of our donors pay suppliers directly. We publish our budget openly and welcome accountability.
VISION IN DAILY PRACTICE
What does this look like on an ordinary Tuesday?
It looks like a staff member staying late to help a child with homework. A toddler in the play corner learning her first words. A high school student getting extra tutoring before exams. A child with a disability receiving physiotherapy. A hot meal on the table, three times a day, every day of the year.
The vision is big. The daily work is faithful, quiet, and consistent — and it is making a difference.
