WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES
Treasure House operates on an annual budget of approximately $450,000 FJD, covering:

Rent and property costs

Food and household expenses

Education (school fees, uniforms, and supplies for all children)

Medical care for all 19 children, including 4 with disabilities
Our biggest current gap is staff allowances. We are $6,000 FJD short every month to cover our 24/7 caregiving team. Your donation directly addresses this shortfall and keeps our dedicated staff in place. Of the total budget mentioned above, much of it is met by donors and sponsors that have supported the home for a span of 25 years. Our only real challenge is the allowance for our staff that need to be on the watch 24/7.
The Fiji government contributes $145 FJD per child per month. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of churches, businesses, and individuals — locally and overseas — who make up the rest.

IN KIND DONATIONS
Local donors can drop off In Kind donations directly to the home.Please check our address and visitation guidelines, donations without seeing the children can be made during business hours.
Overseas donors may find items cheaper to buy overseas and send air freight. We do have some contacts who collect and send in certain locations so please feel free to contact us to discuss this.
CASH DONATIONS
Donations made at the home are receipted immediately. Bank transfers are acknowledged after the bank statements are sighted and verified for the donations made.
Cash donations go towards general operations in the home including education, medicine, special needs children welfare, transportation, special events outing eg: school, holidays, and organised special events and travels.
